Action, Science Fiction, Adventure, Mystery
Oblivion offers a fresh twist on the sci-fi adventure, blending action and mystery as Jack Harper, played by Tom Cruise, navigates a world on the brink of collapse. When he rescues a mysterious woman from a crashed ship, his quiet life is upended, and he’s thrust into a dangerous quest that challenges everything he thought he knew about humanity’s future.
WORTH A LOOK
Oblivion’s visually stunning depiction of a post-apocalyptic Earth is tempered by its predictable plot and underdeveloped characters, making it an average sci-fi action flick that fails to leave a lasting impact. Despite its shortcomings, the film’s impressive visual effects and Tom Cruise’s performance make for an engaging watch.
