Laxmii is a unique blend of horror and comedy that follows Aasif, played by Akshay Kumar, as he navigates an unexpected supernatural ordeal when his scientific worldview is challenged by the ghostly presence of a transgender individual. As Aasif’s life turns upside down, he must rely on the support of his family, including Kiara Advani’s Rashmi and Ayesha Raza Mishra’s Ratna, to find a way back to normalcy—or is it possible that embracing the unknown could change everything?
SKIP IT
The combination of horror and comedy doesn’t quite work, and with a low 4.4/10 rating from a decently sized audience, it’s clear that Laxmii struggles to find its footing.
