La La Land

What people are saying

La La Land has received widespread acclaim for its visually stunning cinematography and memorable musical numbers. Many reviewers praise the film’s aesthetic appeal, with some calling it “iconic” and “gorgeous-looking.” However, opinions on the story and plot are more divided, with some finding it light on substance and others appreciating its artsy approach. The cast, particularly Emma Stone and Ryan Gosling, have also been praised for their performances as a duo, but some critics felt that John Legend’s role was slightly out of place.
