WORTH A LOOK
While Allegiant delivers on its promise of action and suspense, the film’s pacing issues and underdeveloped supporting characters hold it back from reaching its full potential as a thought-provoking sci-fi epic, making it a middling watch. The film’s heavy reliance on convenient plot devices also detracts from its overall impact.
