Comedy, Crime
Austin Powers, the ’60s’ most stylish spy, takes on the 90s with his groovy gadgets and even grottier catchphrases. But when Dr. Evil resurfaces from a cryogenic slumber to unleash his diabolical plans, it’s up to Austin—and his trusty sidekick Vanessa—to save the day in this hilarious comedy of style and substance.
WORTH A LOOK
Austin Powers’s enduring charm and Myers’s impressive comedic range make it a laugh-out-loud experience, despite some dated references that don’t entirely hold up today. With its over-the-top action sequences and nostalgic 60s setting, the film’s irreverent humor is still worth embracing for fans of 90s comedy.
