What people are saying
Many reviewers praise Pretty Woman for its charming performances from Julia Roberts and Richard Gere, as well as its authentic portrayal of romance and growth. Some critics note that the film’s 1980s Rom-Com genre may not be to everyone’s taste, but overall, it is considered a classic romantic comedy. A few viewers have expressed disappointment with the film’s depiction of prostitution, arguing that it does not portray the issue realistically, while others see this as a deliberate choice to prioritize entertainment over realism.
